
After 18 days of competition, emotion, overcoming and brotherhood, Cali again consecrated himself as the Queen of Vallecaucano Sports by imposing himself as an absolute champion of the Departmental, Paradepartamental and Deaf -Partamental Games of the Valle del Cauca 2025, Successful in Palmira as the main headquarters, and with the participation of Cali, Guacarí, Geneva and El Cerrito as Sub -fields.
When the curtain fell in the closure made in Guacarí, the medallero crowned the Caleña delegation as undisputed champion, revalidating his title of previous years. Palmira kept the runner -up in conventional, followed by Yumbo in third place. In the Paralympic category, the order of the podium changed: Yumbo was runner -up and Palmira obtained third place.

Medallero: Cali dominates in both categories
In a demonstration of sports power, Cali accumulated:
– 213 gold medals in conventional disciplines
– 111 golds in Paralympic
Behind, Palmira achieved 111 golds in conventional and 19 in Paralympic, while Yumbo added 89 golds in conventional and 85 in Paralympic, standing out as one of the revelations of the event.
A party that transcended the stages
The sports party was not limited to the courts, swimming pools and tracks. It was extended by concentrations, stands, training centers and public squares, where sport became the subject of daily conversation. More than 5,000 athletes and paraatletas competed with an outstanding technical level, in an atmosphere of respect, companionship and passion for the valley.
