Cali is just hours away from vibrating with Carl Cox, one of the most important DJs and producers expected by people who enjoy electronic music.
The legendary 63-year-old English artist, considered one of the living legends of ‘techno’ and the genre as such, chose the capital of Valle del Cauca as the only city in Colombia within the framework of his world tour.
Its presentation, which will take place this Saturday, November 15, at the Valle del Pacífico Events Center, will star in one of the emblematic events of Cali electronic culture: Elemental Fest, which throughout its history has always been characterized by putting on stage the most outstanding performers worldwide, in an environment of art, entrepreneurship and a lot of creativity.

A special set
One of the big surprises announced by the production company La Divina, organizer of the event, is that Carl Cox will present on stage a special four-hour set with the best of his creations that led him to play in great shows of this musical genre, such as Tomorrowland and Ultra Music Festival.
The usual phrase: ‘Age is just a number’ applies to the man born in Manchester, England. Despite being 63 years old, he maintains the energy that has captivated his followers for more than four decades. In addition, he has intact his ability to mix with up to three turntables simultaneously, which is why he is considered ‘The Wizard of Three Turntables’.
“This will be their third return to Cali, after a memorable presentation in 2024. The experience promises to be multisensory, combining technology, sound and energy in a large-format show,” La Divina highlights.

«With more than 100 productions, he was one of the first artists to play at the ancestral ruins of Stonehenge, in England. In addition, he is founder of the record labels Intec Digital and Awesome Soundwave, global references of the underground scene,» added the organization of the event.
Local talent will be represented by David Noreña Just Watermelon, Juanito State, Kamilo Sanclemente and Xplorer.

Through its different editions, the Elemental Fest has shown a varied agenda with artists such as Carl Craig, Charlotte de Witte and even Richie Hawtin, another of the electronic legends.

From the production of the event they also highlighted that for the event with Elemental Fest, visitors from other cities signed up, mostly from Bogotá and Medellín, which generates a significant circulation of tourists who, in addition, will take advantage of this weekend, with a festive long weekend, to visit other points of the capital of Valle del Cauca.
From La Divina they assure that a little more than 50 percent of the attendees are from other regions and that they have seen in Cali a city that promotes electronic culture.
